Booking terms & conditions
The fine print.
Booking a shoot with ByJunHeng (“I”, “me”, Jun Heng) means you (“the client”) agree to the terms below. They’re here to keep expectations clear and protect us both, so the day itself can stay relaxed. Last updated [July 2026].
1 — Booking & deposit
A date is only held once a deposit is paid. The deposit amount is shown at checkout and is deducted from your total — it is not an extra charge. Until the deposit clears, the date remains open to other enquiries.
2 — Availability & confirmation
Paying a deposit requests your chosen date; I confirm availability by email or WhatsApp within 24 hours. In the rare case I’m already booked or can’t take the date, your deposit is refunded in full and no booking is made.
3 — The balance
The remaining balance is due [on or before the shoot day], payable by the same secure checkout, bank transfer, or PayNow. Galleries are delivered after the balance is settled.
4 — Rescheduling
Life happens. You may reschedule once at no charge with at least [7 days’] notice, subject to my availability; the deposit carries over to the new date. Reschedules with less notice may incur a small admin fee. For outdoor shoots, if the weather is unworkable we’ll move to the nearest suitable date at no cost.
5 — Cancellations & refunds
The deposit reserves your date and turns away other work, so it is non-refundable once your booking is confirmed (except where I cancel — see below). If you cancel with more than [14 days’] notice, any balance already paid is refunded. If I ever have to cancel and can’t offer a suitable alternative date, you receive a full refund of everything paid.
6 — On the day
Please arrive on time — sessions run for the booked duration from the agreed start time. Extra time may be available on the day at the add-on rate if my schedule allows. Locations requiring permits or entry fees are the client’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
7 — Delivery
Edited galleries are delivered within the timeframe stated in your package, via a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads and personal print rights. Turnaround starts once the balance is paid. Editing is done to my signature style; I don’t provide raw/unedited files.
8 — Image rights & usage
I retain copyright of all images as their creator. You receive a licence to use your photos for personal, non-commercial purposes — printing, sharing, and social media (a credit to @byjunheng is appreciated, not required). I may feature images from your shoot in my portfolio, website and social media. If you’d prefer your photos stay private, just tell me before the shoot and I’ll keep them off public channels. Commercial or brand usage is available — ask for a licence.
9 — Privacy
Details you share (name, contact, shoot details) are used only to plan and deliver your shoot and are never sold or passed on. Enquiries are handled in line with Singapore’s PDPA. You can ask me to update or delete your details at any time at hello@byjunheng.com.
10 — Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe; I never see or store your card details. Prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable fees unless stated.
11 — Liability
I bring backup gear and take every care, but in the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or events beyond my control, my liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid. I’m not liable for indirect losses.
12 — Changes to these terms
